nothing special.

Nothing special is an outfit I'm obsessed with! As I've mentioned me and slogan tee's go hand in hand, so had to pick this beauty up when I saw it in Topshop. I just love the font and colours of the tee to be a centrepiece for an outfit as when you dress the tee up it kind of contradicts itself like "oh this outfits nothing special I just threw it on..." haha. The trousers in this outfit are from Missguided and were so cheap at £14.99 so I had to purchase them. They are cigarette style pants so are high waisted and then a tiny bit cropped at the ankle in length, but when thrown on with some loafers or heels your ready to hit the shops, work or even out for the evening. The heels are to DIE for and of course are again from Public Desire. Lace up heels are currently a must in every woman's wardrobe and I highly recommend having a browse on Public Desires website as they have plenty of styles and colours to choose from. I went for these beauty's as I love the cut out detail on the sides with the lace up design and zip at the back. They instantly make any outfit look amazing and to me are a key piece.

'ENJOY'

Enjoy is one of a more casual outfit that I would typically wear to go out shopping or for lunch with a friend. I love nothing more than a slightly oversized tee and ripped jeans. The 'Enjoy' slogan top is from Zara which I love as the centrepiece of the outfit as the colours of the sequin logo are to die for and mermaid-ish haha. I went for a large in the top so it would be slightly oversized as I think its supposed to be worn tighter, buying your usual size, but I prefer tee's slightly oversized to throw on. The ripped jeans are from New Look, which I never would normally buy my jeans from but currently I am loving jeans from here. Me and jeans never normally work out due to struggle of finding the right comfort and fit but New Looks jeans I'm currently loving. They are so comfortable to wear and you can throw these ripped ones on with anything and make the outfit more edgy looking and make a normal easy outfit look fashion forward. The shoes have to be Public Desire of course which I am currently obsessed with! They stock all the new in fashion shoes at such affordable prices its amazing. These shoes also come in different colours on their website and are so easy to throw on with most outfits coming into Spring/Summer, I love them.

The Perfect Khaki Bomber Jacket

Finding the perfect bomber jacket is something I have struggled with over the past couple of months, as I know this will forever be a staple piece in my wardrobe so obviously want to love it. I found three khaki coloured bomber jackets from high street stores which in particular were my favourites. The reason behind the khaki colour is just my whole obsession with the colour I guess, especially with it currently in fashion. I just love it,I think the colour goes with everything in my wardrobe, especially with majority of it being black or white haha. Also I think it's a colour you can dress down and make a casual sundays look, look quite trendy and on point, or you can always style it up for going out in.

The first bomber jacket is from River Island, priced at £55. I think this is quite a reasonable price for the jacket due to the amazing embellishment on the front of the jacket. It's very much a bomber jacket meant to be worn more dressy as apposed to a 'throw on jacket', however you probably still could. This jacket is a very thin jacket compared with the other two jackets I'm showing you, which is why I think it may be better worn either in warmer weather (instead of the cold winter here in the UK) or just for going out in over a black fitted dress and strappy black heels.

The next jacket is a little number from Topshop priced at again £55. I love the more simple design to this jacket compared to the River Island embellished bomber. I think this is due to fact it seems to be more of a padded jacket as apposed to a thin jacket for looks purposes. The main negative to this jacket however is the fact its the shortest one of the three therefore I feel you need to be extra careful with what you wear t-shirt wise underneath it. I feel this would be more annoying as well as a bomber jacket I see as fashionable but casual to kind of throw on and still look good, so having to think more advance as to what to wear underneath this jacket I feel would be irritating when in a hurry. Also I find with it being a little padded and short, it puffs/sticks out more at the back which I don't particularly like. Another small negative I have with this jacket is the zips as I find them quite tacky for a Topshop jacket. The colour of them firstly is a yellow gold which I personally think looks tacky and the feel of them when you zip them feels like they could easily break, even though they may not.

The final khaki bomber jacket has to be my favourite of the three, and thats this number from ASOS priced at £60. Yes its slightly more expensive then the other two, however I feel the benefits of this jacket are so much better. Firstly the length of this jacket is perfect, as it comes slightly lower then the other two which I prefer as it means you can instantly throw it on with leggings or skinny black jeans and a top and it looks fashionable. I also think this jacket looks so much better in terms of quality due to the smaller aspects such as the zips and the side pocket which blend in more with the khaki colour, as the zip colour is matte silver compared with the Topshop yellow gold. I can see this jacket definitely being a staple piece in my wardrobe that I will get plenty of wear of.
